Deloitte, EY, BAH esque contractors…what are your plans?

The question is, if they get what they want: no government and big tax cuts, where does the money go?

Billionaires don't increase spending that much if they get more cash. They offshore a lot. Open a scuba place in the Caymans. Employing feds stimulates the economy more than tax cuts for the wealthy.

The worst part is that the economy is no longer healthy if the government doesn't regulate and measure it. The stock market and individual firm business plans all depend on Dept of Commerce and Labor statistics. They are laying off the people who generate those. When people start to fear their water, airlines, and food because they can't be sure of safety, they pull back spending. Rules are better than the Wild West.

Please tell us what drugs you are on. They must be lovely.

there is a lot more than happens in DC than just feds. Biggest bloat is the contractor and if feds are cut then they will get hired. DoD is always growing.

This is naive. They are looking for a 75% reduction in employees and spending. Trump has already said he is going after DOD. It will be blood bath all across the country. Government contracting is 795 billion a year. It is so much easier to cancel contracts vs fire federal employees and you save a ton more money.

LOL! you are naive. There is a difference between bark and bite.

Talk to us in 6 months. Maybe you can get free internet at Starbucks.

The question is the quality of work in this environment too. BAH was quick to fire the subcontractor who raised risks of DOGE having access to sensitive government systems, particularly US Treasury financial payments data.

Starbucks won't be around in DC metro, they will close all of its locations when it becomes a combination of downtown Detroit surrounded by rural Mississippi meets WV. When all the yuppies flee the area only desperates who have no where to go will remain, and they aren't going to be patronizing WF, Starbucks, and fine dining.

Yeah, I described to you what thought process some people have especially those who left DC long ago or relocated during the pandemic, and those who generally want to rub it into your face for living in this metro area.
