I like her enough |
She is a good model because: She truly loves and values her parents and brother. She doesn't have any children with baby daddies. She is incredibly generous and donates huge sums to food banks and other charities all over the world. She is - by all accounts - an amazing employer who treats everyone with whom she comes into contact with respect and kindness. She's a loyal friend. ^^^Agree! All of the above. |
^^^Agree! All of the above. “She’s a good girl loves her mommo Loves Jesus And America too She’s a good Girl Crazy bout Elvis Loves horses and her boyfriend too.” |
I like Taylor, but will admit her association with Blake sours me on her, rightly or wrongly. I think Blake in using her and hope she moves on |
There’s tons of pushback on sports talk about the NFL rigging Kansas City games for her. Men are tired of seeing her on camera.
The whole thing is just too much and too fake. And why was she in the suite with the young WNBA girl acting like best friends? You’re 35 years old, the basketball girl is like 22? It’s weird. You’re at games to support a bf and hang out with his family. But clearly that’s not her motive to be there. It’s a circus. |
Caitlin Clark is on record as being a lifelong Chief's fan, appeared on Peyton and Eli's Monday night football show last year talking about it, and then recently was on the New Heights podcast. She was there because she's a huge Chief's fan and when she went to the Era's Tour received a gift bag that said that "Travis and I" want to host you at a game. They did that. That was written up in Caitlin Clark's Time Magazine article, not a Taylor Swift piece. I am a football fan and watched all of the playoff games. They barely showed her. The "men" who are tired of seeing her can pound sand. |
I’m her age, but I don’t like her music. I guess it was too country for me when I was younger and i just never got into her later stuff.
I have no problem with her as a person, though. |
Men are tired of seeing her on camera? Oh those poor things. During Chiefs games they show her maybe twice for 2 seconds at a time. She has access to a swanky suite at the games. Who among us wouldn't invite friends to come along. Truly, you can afford to treat someone(s) to a special thing several times a month, and you wouldn't do it? You'd go all alone every time? That's really sad and self-isolating of you. The Kelces had Caitlyn Clark on their podcast recently. I'm sure the invite was extended at the time. |
Oh I meant to ask, can you explain the conspiracy regarding the refs and Taylor Swift? |
I like her songs and believe she’s incredibly talented. I respect her business senses and strong will power.
But she strikes me as someone who holds grudges and is very vindictive. Also, she should stay away from politics. |
It’s just the stupid men that are bothered. I think you’d find most of them are right wingers that have a problem with women in general. I always like seeing her, she’s super cute. |
“She’s a good girl loves her mommo Loves Jesus And America too She’s a good Girl Crazy bout Elvis Loves horses and her boyfriend too.” And her popularity will be "free fallin" soon. |
I loved her in college during her country era - saw her open for several artists at jiffy lube live. Lost interest in my 20s other than knowing a few radio hits and hearing some talk about drama with Kanye after the award show thing.
Completely lost track of her about 10 years ago when my kids were babies - but was intrigued by the eras tour and the hype. I had major FOMO so got tickets for my daughters and I and started to deep dive her more recent albums so I would know them at the concert. She has come so far from high school crush songs and shake it off. The song writing is really impressive. I love the lore behind a lot of the music and have truly become a fan again. I love how her bandmates have been with her for nearly 20 years. That says a lot about her as an employer and person, IMO. I also like the escapism aspect of her relationship with Travis - it’s frivolous and fun. I love the swiftie rabbit holes on tiktok trying to figure out her Easter eggs and clues she leaves behind. Sometimes you need something silly to focus on and I appreciate that about her and it’s something my daughters and I can talk about. I think her parents and those close to her have been very smart during her entire career and she’s reaping the benefits of having a pretty squeaky clean image despite living her life in a Fish bowl. And the good she does in the cities she visits is truly remarkable. Is it fake? PR? Who knows (but I don’t think so. I think she truly means well and enjoys helping others.). And the eras tour itself was such a fun, girl power, women supporting women, sparkly fun memory that I am so happy to have experienced with my daughters. |
The allegation on both various local and national sports talk is that NFL through referees have their thumbs on the scale of the game to benefit Kansas City — because of Taylor Swift and female viewers and social engagement she brings in. In sports referees can swing games by both calling penalties on opponents and NOT calling penalties on the team you want to win. In the NFL penalties like holds, pass interference, and roughing the passer swing games. |
And like all conspiracy theories, it’s stupid. |
