You’re delusional |
I don't think most women would want to be 6'2, but I also think they'd rather be 5'9 than 5'0. I know I would. I'm 5'5 and would be thrilled to take 3 more inches taller but pissed to go 3 inches shorter. |
I have an Asian friend she’s 5’1 and she’s used for sex by 6’+ men. They would pump and dump her. She’s single for 15 years post divorce. Women are delusional about reasons why these tall guys are asking them out. Men marry or develop relationships with the likes but date for sex |
A man must be writing this. |
no, it's not. ? There are plenty of short Asian women married to tall men who have been married for 10+ years. I'm one of them, as is my friend. Goodness. The issue is your friend, not her height or her race. |
Why do women go for shorter men? Simple: they found someone they are attracted to. Same reason why short women end up with tall men. I didn't intend to end up with a 6'3" man, with me being 5'. It just happened. I have dated men from 5'7" to 6'3". I just ended up with my tall DH because he was most compatible with me. And the sex is fine. No issues. We have two good looking, and taller than average children. I had a friend who liked dating short men because she liked how the sex was with them. But, that's her preference. |
I feel like this average is brought down by huge numbers in the boomer-and-older population. I see tons of little old ladies out, short boomers, I think there were nutritional deficiencies in the older generations. As you get younger and younger, the women generally are taller and taller. My own great grandmother, grandmother, and aunt are 5 foot and below, and I’m almost a foot taller. |
I don't think that's the case today. Nutrition became better after WWII. Most of the older people today were born after WWII. The average height hasn't changed that much since then, maybe like 2cm which is not quite 1". https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/average-height-by-year-of-birth |
Yep, always gives me that vibe, too. |
I don't think that's true. I think most women would rather be thin than fat but height isn't as obvious. Taller women often have an easier time staying thin because they can afford to carry more weight. If you look at celebs who are very tall (5'8" or above) they tend to look thin and willowy even when pregnant or post-partum, even into their 50s and 60s. This is pretty much impossible if you are under 5'3". At that height even a 5 lb weight gain will show up. And pregnancy and menopause can make it very hard to keep a shapely body at that height. Someone like Salma Hayek is the exception that proves the rule -- if I'm over 50 as a woman, I'd much rather be tall. Shortness is also just kind of inconvenient. You can't reach things, a lot of the world is just not designed for your height. I think when women are young it can feel cute to be sort of helpless in this way and there are definitely men with savior complexes who like to "take care" of a shorter woman even if they are equals in other ways. But life is long and that dynamic would get old. It's easier to be taller in pretty much everything except airplane seating. I'm 5'5" and content with that, but if you told me I had to either add or subtract 3 inches and I had no other choices, I'd take 5'8" over 5'2" every day of the week and twice on Sundays. My not-that-tall DH (5'11") would still be taller than me. |
Eww. My 10 year old is 4'9". |
You can't look at global averages -- there is a ton of poverty and malnutrition in the world. Plus genetics play a huge role which impacts who height changes over time in various parts of the world. And then on top of that migration patterns and intermarriage further impact it: https://www.cnn.com/2016/07/26/health/human-height-changes-century/index.html |
5’1” person here. Maintenance calories are about 1600 if you want to stay under 120. It’s quite hard. If you look around most fat women are also on the shorter end. |
