I used to shop at a store called "Petite Sophisticate," a store for professional business attire.

There was also Casual Corner Petite Annex.

There was 5-7-9, a store for petite women who wore that size.

Size 6 shoe used to be a popular size. I can hardly find my size clothes.

People have gotten larger.

As petite women, how we style our clothes helps us look more professional at work.

You might be thin but 5' 4" is not petite in itself since 5 ft 3 is the height of the average American woman.

True, but in fashion "petite" does refer to 5'4" and under. Models are usually at least 5'9" and that's what the clothing is based on.

Let me just say, at 5'7, I love my height as everything fits length wise. Sometimes I get talls because I have a long torso and arms but length of pants and skirts - perfect.

My DIL is pregnant with our first grandchild.
]She's 5'10 and my son in 6'4.5.
Her dad is 5'1 and her mom is 5'8. I'm 5'7 and my husband is 6'1.
We're guessing the baby will be very tall but who knows with her dad's genes in there.
Heredity is interesting.

As a 5’8 woman I dated men from 5’9 to 6’4. While most of my dates were over 6’, I feel most comfortable when he’s 5’11-6’. I don’t know what you are talking about sex: it’s great when we can do it standing in the shower with me just wrapping my leg around him, being about same level. My legs are long and mens legs shorter so my P is right at the level of his D. I also don’t like to stretch my neck too much to kiss, better if we are about same level. Also men like to f..k with my legs on his shoulders. Some munch on my toes in the process….
I’m thin and very feminine, round butt and large tits but looking narrower than most shorter women, and way smaller than most men.
OP has weird agenda against tall women

This is a classic example of internal mysogeny lol. If you anonymously ask women whether they would rather be short or tall you know the answer. They have bought into the idea that men should be the taller ones stronger ones. I am 6'3 and my wife is 6'1. Personally I don't see any difference as far as attractiveness between a short and tall woman. And women are already considered tall when they are 5'8 sometimes even 5'7. Crazy

For dating and sex anything goes. I had always assumed that many men preferred shorter and more petite women in order to feel more masculine but I was shocked by the number of male friends who shared with me that they wanted to marry tall women in order to have tall kids.

To add, I also look very petite when sitting next to shorter women and have thin ankles, tiny hands with longer thin fingers and size 8 shoe with narrow feminine feet. Men tell me I’m the most proportional woman they’ve ever seen when I get undressed, and a sex bomb. Shorter women who are wider than me look more masculine and “square”, but that’s just my opinion

I think the issue is that so many women and men are overweight in the US. If I was not in the “thin” category, I would have looked totally different

And what is the 'universal' answer? I an short woman and if I could be taller I would want that.

And no, I’m not an angry tall woman. I’m 5’3” and won’t date a man taller than 5’9” because I like the comfort and look of symmetry.

'Clowns? You aren't a nice person

The universal answer is to drop weight and try looking proportional. Wear long hills if you are a short woman with nice legs - men love it. You can easily add 3-4 inches with that and look super sexy.
I’m tall 5’8 and the only downside is that I try to always wear a max 1.5’ hill. But most of my partners loved my look in bikini strings and super long hills “like a hooker”. My exH would ask to wear black hills and lingerie in bed… He was 6’2 so go figure…
I think when a man is into you, he’ll like you in any height and will create a sexy image of you

Most women would rather be short than tall. Of course now they will say the opposite lol.

I’m a tall 5’8 woman and 6’3-6’4 feels waaay too tall of a man for me ! I don’t know why a 5’1-5’3 woman would need someone that tall to feel attractive, unless she or he has a weird fetish…
Men are often overweight or more muscular than women. I’m thin and was getting back and neck pains when I was “pounded” by super tall guys if he’s on top of me. Men are often clumsy in bed and don’t precisely realize the force/weight ratio. I love sex from the back when he’s laying on my butt but with much heavier men it’s a torture for my back.

If you are an athlete you know the inherent advantage you have if you “look the part”.

Even in a sport like baseball the average height of an MLB player is 6’3”.

I don’t know what people are even discussing here - someone already provided stats above that there is a slight correlation in favor of taller people marrying other taller people. Not in favor of taller-shorter
