I don't understand the thinking here. It's not like Trump was required to have a day long rally in NY and then had no choice but to have these jokers speaking. Even though we know people like this are Trump's base he could have had a normalish rally where it was just him and Vance and a couple of less insane surrogates speaking. No one is making them do this.

This is the sign of a campaign that has really lost the plot. I don't get it.

I think he thinks this is just part of that whole Joe Rogan trash-talking universe that reaches young men - and that's their only play. Zero effort to reach anyone else. Just trying to turn out/excite people who listen to Rogan, and people who are already going to lay down their lives for Trump.

This thread is wild. Amazing that it has not only become acceptable but routine to call people Nazis and racists. And if you think Trump is doing this because he is losing badly, then you are missing a chance to make a lot of money right now because every betting market has him as a pretty heavy favorite given the polls and early results.
