Private & Independent Schools
| Was the DEIB director included in these emails and conversations with the affinity group and the HOS? This almost seems unbelievable. |
If you want an all girls experience where are going? Maybe SR but they don’t accept that many students. |
Yeah, she resigned. |
|
What if there is no upheaval?
How are we going to carry this torch forward, continue spreading hate and trying to do damage to the school and HOS? What are we doing to do? |
You are trying to trash a school that your DD never even attended. You appear to be the author of most of the defaming posts after this one. Please stop your campaign. |
To be fair, that pp clearly does have a connection to the school. |
| Maybe PP could have chosen different words, but the key takeaway is that not one Holton family has said it isn’t true and that’s enough for me. |
NCS and they have a very strong DEI program and many happy African American families. SR is not a liberal parent community in the least. Complete opposite actually. The families I know there are actually against DEI programs very vocally and are very club oriented. |
PP above here - also adding in Madeira as another option....They also have strong DEI programs. |
DP. I am confused. Why would this constant poster keep posting then about Holton if her daughter is not there and how would she have all of these emails from internal communications? Last question - why would she keep posting about Holton? I am sincerely curious what else you would think their motive would be? |

Are those emails available someplace else?
Are they authentic? |
Wait, which one please? |
It was the old comms director who wrote the "recourse" email. |
Yes they are |
Sure! Liberal family of color here who practice a minority religion. we love Holton. It has incredibly rigorous academics and never neglects pushing girls to discover their best selves. They have an equally rigorous DEI curriculum that is woven into each and every class. Even the website highlights the DEI work. The school is the most racially and ethnically diverse we found in our search that also has high academic standards. Our daughter has friends of all races. We are in upper school and have attended numerous parent events on campus and in people’s homes and I am always struck by how they never feel homogenous. Everyone shows up. I’ve definitely been inside some ultra-fancy houses, but I have ALWAYS felt welcomed. It also feels like a bit of a tribe. I have had other parents that I don’t even know well that have jumped jn and offered to help me out multiple times (with driving, coordinating after school activities, etc) This school is not for show. It’s all depth. This thread is nutty and does not reflect the reality of this lovely warm place. If yore interested in Holton, visit or ask admissions for names of whatever group you are interested in - black families, Muslim families, East Asian families - they will find someone who will be happy to talk frankly with you. |
