The new HoS is a puppet hard-right conservative who's friends with
Brett Kavanaugh and Glenn Youngkin.

Last year, she made many cultural changes and got into a big fight with the Black affinity group. She walked away from the forum crying, and one of her assistants wrote in an email that the Black families needed to pay for how they treated her. The same assistant accidentally sent the email to a bunch of Black parents.

Most of the White parents seem okay with it, but a lot of the Black parents are trying to leave. We pulled our application after everything came out.

It was a pretty big deal last year.

You are trying to trash a school that your DD never even attended. You appear to be the author of most of the defaming posts after this one. Please stop your campaign.

DP. I am confused. Why would this constant poster keep posting then about Holton if her daughter is not there and how would she have all of these emails from internal communications? Last question - why would she keep posting about Holton? I am sincerely curious what else you would think their motive would be?

I said I pulled my application/ acceptance once I realized what was happening. I am familiar with all the parties involved in the drama and know more about Holton politics than I want. Nobody has yet proven anything that I posted as false.

Black families have to be careful of the environments that they put their children in. This is my motivation for posting. I want to make sure Black girls are safe. The anti-woke/DEI crowd is dangerous. Many believe that they are fighting White people from getting replaced. I am not going to fight with those folks. I am especially not doing it while paying $50k a year.

If Holton wants to be less diverse, I wish them the best. My DD will not be there.

Very well then. Your daughter is not at Holton. You are not in the community. Stop posting and let Holton figure this out themselves.

I think I will continue to share to make sure that Black parents are aware of a hostile and potentially dangerous environment.

I am a liberal that is supportive of DEI but I must be honest your posts and campaign against this woman online makes me completely turned off from all DEI. You are harming the cause.

Don't let me prevent you from embracing your inner segregationist.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. As a parent of a now 10th grader at Holton who came in 9th grade. We have gone to events both at the school and hosted by families in their homes. There is diversity which doesn't seem purposeful or staged. Rather, just a function of parents of different backgrounds getting together and enjoying one another's company with a shared goal of seeing their daughter's be part of an intellectually stimulating, supportive and happy environment. Our other high schooler is in public school. It's fascinating to us that the Holton parents seem way more down to earth and open. The repeated threads on here do seem to smack of a smear campaign.

Sure! Liberal family of color here who practice a minority religion.

we love Holton. It has incredibly rigorous academics and never neglects pushing girls to discover their best selves. They have an equally rigorous DEI curriculum that is woven into each and every class. Even the website highlights the DEI work. The school is the most racially and ethnically diverse we found in our search that also has high academic standards. Our daughter has friends of all races.

We are in upper school and have attended numerous parent events on campus and in people’s homes and I am always struck by how they never feel homogenous. Everyone shows up. I’ve definitely been inside some ultra-fancy houses, but I have ALWAYS felt welcomed.

It also feels like a bit of a tribe. I have had other parents that I don’t even know well that have jumped jn and offered to help me out multiple times (with driving, coordinating after school activities, etc)

This school is not for show. It’s all depth.

This thread is nutty and does not reflect the reality of this lovely warm place.

If yore interested in Holton, visit or ask admissions for names of whatever group you are interested in - black families, Muslim families, East Asian families - they will find someone who will be happy to talk frankly with you.

It appears that this thread has been hijacked by someone who has no relationship with the school. As such, it is probably no longer serving its original purpose.
