So....not that it is an excuse in any way, by why/how did this "misinformation" get out so quickly? Social Media! People are on social media 24/7 it seems and will believe anything posted as gospel - accurate news. Please folks...teach your children NOT to believe everything they read on social media - trust but verify. But alas - as I've said...these "thugs" just wanted an excuse to riot and cause mayhem so riots likely would have started anyway. |
Gosh, yes, remember that awful one at the actual Capitol building on January 6, 2021? Oh, wait...that wasn't BLM. |
Who cares? The suspect is British. |
Time to sit down, Boris https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/01/russian-fake-news-southport-attack-grey-warfare-mi6/ |
I think the Brits are pissed at the government for ignoring the crimes against children in Rotterham for years. A lot of those children were ethnic, so it’s not so much about race, it’s about what’s perceived as cultural, and the cowardice of the British goverment. |
Sorry, Rotherham. |
If they were “active in the local church,” that is a dog-whistle to mean they are part of those dangerous Christian Nationalists. |
Why are mosques being attacked when the guy is a choir boy? This guy was a Christian terrorist |
They were Christian immigrants from Africa. Doubt they were part of the “dangerous” but apparently not so dangerous enough to kill anybody Christian nationalists |
This is basically Britain's "Auslander Russ" moment. I think they are just tired of not-Brits doing terrible things to them and aren't going to take it anymore. The nuance of which flavor of not-Brits doesn't matter anymore. This has been brewing for over a decade at least, and governments have completely ignored the concerns of the people. |
The UK doesn't have open borders. They do accept refugees, like many other countries. If you were a refugee, let's say because you were gay from a conservative country where they would kill you for being gay, you would hope that some country would have some compassion for you. My DH is a Brit. I'm not white. We go to the UK often. His family lives mostly in the southwest, but we have traveled everywhere and was planning to go up north, too next time. One family member does live near that area. I would feel very uncomfortable in those areas now. Awful. |
It's purely racism. Most of the violent crime in the UK is committed by native Brits. Do you think they are attacking the many EU residents there? No. The anger is at dark skinned people. |
? I seriously doubt they are angry at the crimes against "ethnic" children. If they care about "ethnic" children, they would demand more social workers for those "ethnic" children, rather than be anti-refugees, which some of those "ethnic" children are. |
