OMG!! I Love You!!! |
| LOL or LMAO. They're just plain annoying. You wouldn't respond saying "laugh out loud" to something that's funny in person. And laughing your ass off? How often does that actually happen? Nevermind LMFAO. How many obscenities do you need to abbreviate to say something is funny? |

Is "THIS" an acronym? What does it mean? |
| ...who don't proof read their post's subject. Check spelling, people! |
It's not an acronym. |
|
How about the annoying use of "no?" at the end of what would otherwise be a sentence.
Example: Mommy and Me classes are full of brats, no? |
| "exactly" |
| Split infinitives. And people who don't aspirate "wh". |
Here's an example of what I mean from another thread: A douchebag is the person who reads an anonymous posting with limited detail on one of these forums who then proceeds to make huge generalizations about the poster and/or situation based in no actual fact and then flames said poster for imagined infractions. Did you see it??? the "said" Drives me crazy! No one talks or should write like that!!!! So pompous! |
| I say "you know" far too often. I wish I could break the habit. It's like I'm forcing the other person to affirm my thought before they've even heard what I'm planning to say you know. |
| I hate people who write "loose" when they mean "lose." I really hate that my teenage daughter says "like" after every other word. |
Ha. Like in Cool Whip? You really like to accentuate that "h," huh? |
First, thank you for not having written "You like to really accentuate...."
Second, sure, as in Cool Whip. Seriously, though, "whether" should not sound like "weather", "where" like "wear", etc. |
Yeah, I see it, and do you know what I think? I think you are a douchebag. |
