The Bachelor (Joey)

I think the age thing ended up getting blown out of proportion, but Maria doesn't really seem like a good person, stealing other people's time when she already had a rose.

Sydney was annoying. She need to go home. Bye girl.

So do we think Maria is the “one”?

I doubt it. I think she'll continue in her ways and ultimately Joey will realize he's too nice for her. My money's on Kelsey from NOLA, Jenn or Lexi.

No. Lexi or Daisy.

Nick Viall likens Maria to Corinne on his season. She's there to get attention and produces tell the lead to keep her on for ratings.

Yes to the first point but he’s obviously very attracted to her, can barely keep his hands off her when they’re together.

Producers tell Joey to keep her enemy-of-the-week to maintain the drama. I agree he’s attracted to her but no way is she the one. He’s looking for nice and lower-maintenance. It’ll be Lexi, Jenn, NO Kelsey, or Daisy. Right now he seems most compatible with Kelsey, but that could change.

I don't know what I think about Maria. They keep referring to her "rough edges," I can see how some find her off-putting. Maybe the girls are just threatened by her or maybe she is self-focused, a guy's girl, and difficult to get along with. My guess is the truth is somewhere in the middle.

But Lexi left last night?

Ah, not caught up yet. I'm surprised, they seemed to have good chemistry.

Am I the only one a little annoyed by this? He's 28 years old. If her biological clock is ticking that loudly, she made a poor choice to go on this show. Any reasonable person could have seen there would be a disconnect.

She's always horning in on the other girls' time. I don't like her much. She's gives major narcissist vibes.

I hope she's not the next Bachelorette. At first I found her directness and natural good looks refreshing, now I don't find her likable and am vaguely annoyed whenever she's on screen. Although there are some twits and some meanies in this group, I think there are several good Bachelorette candidates other than Maria.

She was a jerk to Jess. I think the other girls should have stood up for her. Maria was very insensitive, and I think that's just who she is. But Joey clearly is not at all into Jess, so it wouldn't have mattered if she'd gotten a few minutes with him.
