Jodie Turner-Smith divorcing Joshua Jackson

She just seems much cooler and more interesting than him. They don’t seem to have a ton in common and the main thing that seemed to hold them together was attraction and the baby. Sad it didn’t work out but they’ll land on their feet. I’d be very curious to see who they both end up with next.

She asked him to marry her on New Year’s Eve and he said yes. Back then they seemed very much in love and they got caught up in the moment. They got married and got pregnant very quickly.

Yeah… you have the wrong order. They got pregnant very quickly and got married later, a few months before their daughter was born. I don’t think they were even exclusive when she got pregnant, considered he was pictured making out with another woman at… I think it was LAX. Their daughter kept them together much longer than they probably would have been together otherwise. Don’t need to slam either of them, they’re probably just two very different people who dated and should have used better birth control.

So, it looks like it went engagement, pregnancy, marriage, baby.

Joshua Jackson has said many times that he never pictured himself getting married—until he met Jodie.

It seems like a lot of Diane Kruger fans were really triggered that he met and married Jodie after less than one year of dating, but refused to marry Diane after a decade together. A lot of his statements towards marriage make him sound like a man child to be honest. We’ll never know exactly what happened, but I generally roll my eyes at men who are old enough to have gray hair and still talk about marriage as if it’s something they’re not ready for. Still, it was Diane’s decision to wait around for a decade. It’s really gross to get mad at the woman he eventually married. Jodie is the one who filed for divorce.

You basically describe a mommy relationship between Diane and Joshua. Gag. Granted, I also wouldn’t aspire to a whirlwind romance/love at first sight either because of the tendency for those relationships to break under real world pressure.

But if I had to pick, I would definitely choose whirlwind romance than playing mommy to my boyfriend for a decade.

I don't know whether he's a sweetheart but she comes across as immature and overly dramatic in her interviews and social media.
