NP. Just looked her up in Wikipedia -she moved to the US from England when she was 10. First decade of life is long enough to solidify a British accent. I bet she can fake an American accent perfectly though.

I think they’re announcing now because no matter what they do, they look like mature and reasonable grownups compared to Joe Jonas.

Plus everyone is so focused on the Jonas/Turner custody battle that their divorce will easily fly under the radar. They filed requesting 50/50 joint custody of their daughter. That’s as drama free as it gets.

I highly doubt they care about Joe Jonas. He’s like a c list celebrity and I’m not sure what she was known for prior to being his wife. And they don’t appear to be friends with Taylor swift.

Maybe it's just the way she looks in photographs but she always looks slightly put out to be with him and he looks like he's trying to be happy for both of them.

She didn't have this accent in middle school or high school. Her local family doesn't have this accent. Caribbean yes, British no. It's an act.
