A $50 black fake leather bag. I have no clue about brands and I don't know how you guys can identify the without a photo.

Are you a man? Because no woman I ever met didn't carry a bag.

Not PP but I have female coworkers who don't use a bag. I just cleaned out my work bag and 99% of what I carry in there isn't really necessary stuff or stuff I can throw in some pockets and then put at my desk.

I carry my wallet, computer, a book to read on the train, my phone, umbrella, lipstick. All of that I need every day. Where do you put all that stuff?

I'm a woman. I leave my laptop at work, and have lipstick, etc in my office desk drawer. My phone case holds my ID and a credit card. I carry an umbrella if I need it, otherwise it's at home. So all I usually carry is my phone.

Same. I carry my phone into work and that's it.

he was the hot rotc guy in college. you put your career on the back burner while traveling around the world with him and raising the kids (italy was nice, north dakota, less so). Now he's a 40-something retiree/SAHD, puttering around the house and getting a lil paunchy. You are climbing the corporate ladder and will be a VP by 50.

Once you've paid off the tuition bills at JMU for your twins, you will convince him to sell your faux antebellum mansion on the grounds of a former prison in lorton and move back to rochester, which honestly doesn't seem that bad anymore?? At least those folks know what to do in snow.

I think academic.

Right now a huge free cotton shoulder tote from Knoll (office furniture).

Sometimes an REI tote.

Sometimes a big black Tom Ford leather shoulder tote.

Those have been my main three for a few months.

Madewell two-tone transport tote with top zip. I've had it for several years now and prefer it over my more expensive high-end totes.

really?? I feel like this bag says, "i'm 40, which means I'm old enough to buy myself nice things with the money we're no longer spending on daycare. now leave me alone with my true crime podcasts and my kombucha redbull so I can crank out some performance reviews before the end of the quarter."

Omg, is that what this bag says to other people? Not PP but I was thinking that it’s lovely and I’m only 33…
