Quick! Is attending MS open house really that important?

I think it is school dependent. In your case, I’d go.

I didn’t go to my middle schoolers’ this year. I went last year bc I had a 6th grader. It was fine, but nothing I need to do twice. It was basically the principle introducing a teachers, and admin, a tour of the school and a scavenger hunt where you find your classes and get your teachers to sign for a prize (candy, of course). Parents say hi to the teachers as they sign the sheet, but the is about it. There is no special, academic class pertinent info given.

Have a 7th and 6th grader this year and we skipped it. They had sports practice and didn’t want to miss that.
