"more than a few posters" who never went there and whose kids have no hope of getting in. But thanks for your opinion. |
Actually it's known for its undergrad experience. |
It's just jealousy. I haven't heard anything but love from anyone who's toured it lately. |
you'd rather bash it based on zero actual knowledge |
| The more recent Yale grads I know are the least annoying and most humble of the HYP group. |
Niche doesn't agree with you. Yale is #1. |
Nope, not sick of this at all. I like to hear feedback from people who actually know something about a school. It's helpful as my kid considers schools. Why would this annoy you? If you're not interested in Yale, just scroll by. |
People only have experience with the schools they went to or where their kids go to. Anything posted by others are simply impressions. But the impression is that Yale has lost a few steps. Maybe it's accurate. Maybe it's not. But I think generally, when it comes to HYPSM, the Y doesn't belong |
Based on what? Niche just ranked Yale #1. |
| People on DCUM freak out because Yale was late to the elite CS party. They are putting resources into it now though and have done a lot to improve other slightly weaker areas too (like the b-school). |
+1 Bunch of troll posts by people with a chip on their shoulder because they and/or their kids were rejected by Yale. |

Remember that Harvard and maybe Stanford now are the only schools with the global name recognition Yale has. That doesn't mean Princeton and MIT are not as good but Yale isn't going anywhere with the brand name and massive endowment with total assets only behind Stanford and Harvard.

It would have been more helpful to include the surrounding areas since no one stays on campus 24/7.
Fordham University would probably be #1. |
Harvard doesn't care. They don't care at all. |
Yes. In the number of letters in the name. |
