My seven year old hates this commercial. Normally he ignores commercials altogether, unless they’re for a toy he wants, but whenever this one comes on he screams at the tv, at me, at his siblings. He’s like ā€œwhy is that fat lady so happy she has diabetes? And why is everyone else so happy about it?ā€ I’ve never seen him react like that. From the mouths of babes….

Fat girl joy. I get it.

Oh my god, there’s a new Jardiance commercial! Just saw it. There’s a new woman singing, and it’s an office setting, but basically the same cringey song and dance. Love the food delivery guy!

She claims she is managing her diabetes but is so overweight. When you have diabetes you lose weight thats how you manage it. The dancing is terrible, the fake talking to people is ridiculous, changing into that hideous dress makes no sense, the ad makes no sense. I cringe everytime it comes on. The drug company can afford better with all the money they make. Actually advertising drugs is wrong-- your doctor should make recommendations on what drugs to take.

Let’s return to a time where medicine was not allowed to advertise on tv! Hate this ad and the bent penis scar tissue ad. Like I didn’t know that was a thing and long for the time when I didn’t know.

They shouldn't advertise anywhere! If I need a prescription medication, my healthcare providers will prescribe it.

I think it’s the same voice from the first one. This lady lip syncs…sometimes…and is usually way off!

Not true. Even losing weight doesn’t control it. My niece lost tons of weight and watched carbs. Her A1C still went up 8.9. With Ozempic, A1C down in 6 range. And she eat a little more normal. And plenty of skinny people with diabetes.

Ugh. Why put this woman in an ad?? If the product works why is this woman still obese? Plus is it fun to watch her dance? Not to me !!

It's officially a Type 2 diabetes drug, not a weight loss drug.

Even without drugs, 30% of obese people have no markers for health problems, so it's entirely possible that Jardiance has lowered her A1C to healthy levels and she's still fat.

And the ad is still annoying.

New commercials show she's dropped a lot of weight.
