Same! If there's a drug that I need, I assume my healthcare professional will know more about it than I will from watching commercials. Maybe then the drugs wouldn't cost so much.

This commercial? I had never seen it before but found it totally non-offensive

Watch it 30 times and get back to us

Had to google it as I hadn't seen it.

Yeah, it's a little annoying. Not sure the musical theater retro dance-y happy vibe is the perfect thing for that product. What annoys me about it is that they are going with a musical theater thing, but that actress isn't really a strong enough dancer to pull that off.

My DH HATES that commercial.

I hate it too. But almost everything I watch I’ve recorded so I just fast forward through. But even the opening of this sets my teeth on edge.

The commercial insinuates that all diabetics are fat and consider the disease joyous thanks to a drug! Wow! How insulting for those who suffer with a disease that increases your risk for an early death. Nothing to dance about and far from all diabetics are fat. Wow!

I don't mind it. She looks like what could be someone in the target audience. So much better than ALL those other pharma ads with 40 yo healthy looking people for what is typically a drug whose average usage demographic is late 60 yo s.

But really who cares if a a drug ad is annoying. They just want you to remember the name. Who in their right mind is going to turn down a drug their doctor recommends because they find the ads annoying.

What’s even more interesting is the actress is on tik tok. And shares food recipes.

I don’t get why, during the commercial, she is “styled” by changing into a yellow dress an getting her hair done. Makes no sense. What a dumb ad.

Why dear god did you have to bring that up. Now I can't get that horrifying commercial and song out of my head. Guess I won't be getting much work done the next hour.

My sweet, sweet, 87 year-old mother, who loves all children, says “No, NOOOO!” when that commercial comes on and starts frantically punching buttons on the remote to change the channel.

That commercial and everybody damp rid are just more sickening commercials where people are trying to dance.
