Mandatory uniform purchases every 2 years?

Where is the fun in that? Kids like to wear a full kit. Sure, kids don’t NEED it but why not? They don’t need to do lots of stuff - elaborate halloween costumes, room decorations, fashionable clothes, Taylor Swift concerts. But it’s fun so we do it.

My kids don’t do it for fun, they take the kit seriously as was taught by their coach bc of how to reflects on the team. Yeah, I know someone’s going to chime in how amazing their kid is and he wears whatever she/he wants. But the reality is that the best players are serious about every little thing abt soccer including the kits.

We spent $300-400 for Maryland United. Had to buy a backpack too.

Total waste of money—both Maryland United and the clothing.

So now you have grip socks, tiny shin guards cuz of Jack Grealish, shin guard sleeves or tape, the sad remains of the $15 socks you just bought. Like WTF is going on down there really? Its an over complicated mess below the knees.

Haha, we don't use the bulky over engineered socks and buy cheep matching ones that aren't bulky inside of the soccer boots.

Can someone explain how to do this? Don't want to buy a another backpack but soccer.com won't let us leave anything off the order. Thank you

Which club required you to buy backpack? Ours don't! Just the uniforms listed as required!

You have to edit the html to allow you to change the quantity to zero.

Bethesda required everyone to purchase logo'd slides last year for $40. Slides on Temu for $3 are twice the quality.

Valor charges per patch on their uniforms meanwhile majority of the patches and logos are sponsors. complete SCAM! We buy new uniforms next year but when we did it previously you could remove the quantity in the check out page, I wonder if they have removed that option.

I've never heard of new backpacks every other year. Not to say my kid's does not stink to high Heaven, but that's a new one.

THANK YOU! Do you happen to have any details? Or a screenshot? I have no programming expertise and don't see anyplace obvious in the HTML to edit. The total with every item they are requiring is $478 which is just insane.

That's insane the club would have the balls to do that.

This has been mentioned before, it’s the kickback cash to the clubs. It’s a huge problem. You have to convince the BOD to go another route.

Agree. Even the coaches complain about it. It's a club out of Europe so nobody here seems have any control over these decisions

That’s the Bethesda I know. “Slaves will save me $37 bucks!”
