I don't know, why did I have a six year age gap instead of a three year age gap between my kids? Because having babies, with a surrogate or otherwise, is not something you can schedule. Remember surrogates are people too, with their own timeframe and personal/professional commitments to attend to. It's not like doordash for babies.

Might have been part of the contract. Surrogate was only available for a set window of time.

I don't know, why did I have a six year age gap instead of a three year age gap between my kids? Because having babies, with a surrogate or otherwise, is not something you can schedule. Remember surrogates are people too, with their own timeframe and personal/professional commitments to attend to. It's not like doordash for babies.

Chef Cat Cora and her wife both were pregnant at the same time. We have lesbian friends who adopted a 5 month old while trying IVF. The biological child was born less than a year later.

This is super common with lesbians, tbh. I'm a lesbian and have several lesbian friends who have done this.

With my wife and I, I birth baby #1 and baby #2 and she birthed babies #3 & #4. We thought about doing #2 and #3 at the same time, but she was afraid it would be too much work and decided she'd be more comfortable waiting, so we did.

That sounds so chaotic, I can't imagine. I also had lesbian friends have 3 under 3 and I think it's totally nuts. Just not my cup of tea.
