They have every right to tell him to continue speaking elsewhere. Did he have a permit? They didn’t stop his speech - he did, when he disobeyed their request to move to a different place. They are there to prevent violence. It happens all the time to liberals too.

Please cite a situation in which a liberal was merely speaking and was arrested for it.

You are either clueless or completely unserious if you think liberals haven't been arrested for merely speaking at a counterprotest or other event. There are hundreds and hundreds of instances every year.
