"Celebration everywhere?" SO WHAT. Does not hurt or affect you in any way, other than imagined.

Does effect. Inappropriate for some audiences, for example elementary school. Endorsement of values that not all people have by school systems and governmental bodies is inappropriate.

"Government endorsement?" SO WHAT. Does not hurt or affect you in any way, other than imagined.

Same argument for religious endorsement by government of Christmas and other religous symbol. Do you support government endorsement of Christan? Most likely no because not everybody is the Christianity people.

"If you blasphemy, branded a heretic" LEARN ENGLISH. And learn how freedom of speech works. It's not freedom of speech for you but none for anyone else. You have the right to say something stupid, and other people have the right to call you stupid for it.

Has many religious aspects, including symbols and chants. For example "Love is love." Though logic of that statment incorrect for incest and animals, as we do not permit either.

If you protest, government can come after you, like Loudon county person arrested at school board after child assualted. Many contraversy.

Bogus and not compelling. And you aren't even American, so why are you meddling with American politics?

I live in america. Children go to American schools. The statement that this do not effect me is wrong. This is evangelism to the childrens. This is statement that this is cool. Thinking LGBT good, people who disagree are bad is very simple thinking process

As a foreigner, I do not get why you take pride in sexual idenity, nor do I understand why you promote this to the children. You do not wish to engage on points, because you would have to admit that this is cult behavior. You would have to admit that government is endorsing religious sect violation 1st amendment.

As a foreigner you have a tremendous amount of hubris to think you should be the one to dictate what American culture should or shouldn't be. If you prefer your own culture so much then maybe America isn't the place for you.

And the rest of what you said is incorrect, completely backwards and frankly deranged. Sorry to break it to you but we are not in some weird government-run cult as you seem to want to imagine. The government is NOT imposing religion on anyone. it's you who wants to impose your religious views on public schools. You may have come from a country that does not have this concept but in America, we believe in SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. That means, keep your church and your religion to yourself and out of public schools and public politics. Got it?

You do know that Montgomery County school system removed opt out for LGBT content in elementary school for mandatory reading books. This is goivernment endorsement of the new state religion.

https://www.cair.com/press_releases/hundreds-of-maryland-parents-urge-mcps-to-restore-of-opt-out-option-parental-notice-for-sexually-themed-material/

They were protesting it yesterday at the MCPS school Hq.

https://www.newsweek.com/maryland-parents-protest-lgbt-books-school-boardprotect-our-children-1804972

You do not have the separation of Church and LGBT religion. The government is evangelicializing to the childrens.

lgbtq+ DEI is not an organized religion, though.

But, I get your point about separation of church and state - Rs are trying to shove their religion down everyone's throat.

OP, and I actually used to go to church regularly.

What's being shoved down anyone's throat?

Nobody's forcing them to buy rainbow t-shirts.

The mere fact of something existing is NOT "forcing it down your throat." It just isn't. You're a snowflake is all.

And TBH this whole obsession around having things shoved down one's throat sounds a bit weirdly homoerotic, right wingers. Maybe pick a different phrase or something.šŸ˜†

We take one day - ONE DAY - in May to remember those who died in defense of our country.
And, we have 145 calendar days to recognize "alternate lifestyles."
This is more than "something existing."

And, God forbid you speak up against any of it.......don't tell us that these beliefs aren't being forced on people.

And this affects you how? First of all I have no idea where you got this "145 calendar days to recognize alternative lifestyles" crap but even if that were true then so what? Do you get arrested, harrassed or threatened for not wearing a rainbow shirt? You aren't making your case for this hyperbolic "shoved down our throats" nonsense.

Yes.

You’re not too sharp are you?

DP. Please explain to us exactly why this man is being arrested. Since you're clearly far more intelligent than we are. We'll wait.

Crickets, as expected. I don’t agree with what this man is saying, but he certainly has the right to say it. So why was he arrested? Liberals, still waiting for you to defend this.

There’s absolutely nothing in that video that justifies his arrest. I have no idea why he was arrested. Did he disturb the peace before that video was shot? Had he been asked to leave the area and refused to comply?

I personally know someone who was arrested for harassing pro choice protesters after Dobbs was leaked. He had a physical altercation with a woman. The cops came and instructed each side to stay on opposite sides of the street. The man was warned that if the cops had to come back, people might be arrested. The guy just couldn’t help himself and crossed the street to heckle people some more. Once again, there was a scuffle and the cops were called. Guy got arrested. However, if he had only been filmed for the minute or two immediately preceding his arrest, the video might not have given much context.

There is no reason to take that video at face value. A random videographer posted by a random Twitter user.

This has propaganda written all over it. Maybe it’s not, but our country would be so much better off of everyone was more cautious about what media they are consuming, who created it, and what their goal is. When something enrages you, pause, and think. Check the sources. Wait for more information.

Funny... how many video clips have been posted here and *immediately* been taken at face value by outraged LWNJs - while the rest of us ask them to please wait until all the facts come out? Too many to count. Yet, here we are waiting, and NO other facts have come out. This guy was arrested for his speech. Period. Not one of you can defend this, which is why no one has attempted to.

We don’t see what prompted the officer to arrest. The person recording was very careful not to show us that.
I’d need more info to comment further.

Was the guy actually booked? Or is this a case where he was handcuffed and the cops talked to him, but ultimately allowed to leave? What was the guy charged with?

Yes, we do. He starts loudly talking again. Then the officer walks over and handcuffs him.

This is such BS - the police are claiming he was arrested because of his "volume," not because of what he was saying. Please. How much volume do liberal protesters put out??? Unreal. By those standards, we should be arresting everyone who participates in marches.

"He was not arrested for reading a bible verse," a police spokesperson told the outlet. "He was arrested for being disorderly. His volume was at a level that he was heckling a preplanned and permitted event. He was given an area he was allowed to protest in, and was asked to keep volume at a level that was not problematic or that was inciting public inconvenience."

By these "standards," all the heckling loudmouth activists on college campuses who refuse to let conservative visitors speak should be rounded up and arrested. Especially since they're on *private* property, disrupting an invited speaker - not even public property, like this guy was.

So they gave him a place to continue his speech but he disobeyed them and was more confrontational.

Isn’t your line, ā€œhe should have just listened and obeyed?ā€

So he didn’t do exactly what the officers told him to do? He’s lucky he wasn’t shot.

There are many instances where disruptive kids like that on campuses did in fact get arrested. It's just that your lame and dishonest conservative media doesn't bother to report on the full story.
