Upper NW DC or Takoma Park schools?

OP here—we opted for Takoma Park. The more we asked around (IRL), you will find some people happy and some bored or unhappy in every neighborhood we were looking at. I think that’s just the nature of the beast. We liked the look of the program here, know ppl who are happy here, and had other factors pulling us here. So far people seem welcoming… I guess we’ll see in time how it goes!
