Letting the homeless and criminals take over the nation's Capital? Shutting down schools for a year because of something no worse than the flu? Forcing people to take a medical treatment to keep their jobs? All the transgender craziness? Flirting with WWIII?

NP. I have had the flu and Covid. Covid gave me heart problems, the flu did not. Just because you didn’t have a problem with Covid, doesn’t mean others didn’t. You can’t possibly be that self-centered.

Are you saying because Covid gave you heart problems, it was ok to shut down schools? In a healthy society we sacrifice adults to protect children, not the other way around.

Not that poster, but, yes. Boomer lives are worth a year of school shut downs to me. I don't like that schools shut down, but it was a reasonable response. Maybe all the teachers didn't want to be "sacrificed" for your children!

They wouldn’t have had to teach anymore. They could quit. No one put a gun to their head to force them to still teach.

Which plays into the whole GOP undermining our schools and education in general. GOP depends on uneducated masses to support their gaslighting and lies.

But that’s what the Dems are saying about every American who were concerned about the vaccine. They were told ‘just quit your job, no one is forcing you’. Same for teachers.

No they didn't. Are you forgetting who was president when everything shut down? Hint, it was March 2020. The election was in November 2020. Biden got the vaccines out to the masses by April 2021. Things generally reopened thereafter, though many PRIVATE businesses continued to work remotely given Zoom and other online tools.

Why do people with few resources vote conservatively? As you suggest, liberal policies generally favor the disadvantaged.

Because they value their freedom? Because they know they can do it themselves? Because they don’t want to live on the government teat?

Being forced to give birth is the opposite of freedom.

No one is being forced. Abortion simply went back to the states. Oh, the drama!

Call it back to the states, call it drama, call it whatever you want, the voters understand exactly what it meant and it drove voters rich and poor to vote democratic in the midterms and that will continue.

You honestly think it was abortion that won the midterms for the Dems? I suggest you start looking at the court cases and discovery process in Maricopa. Start there. There’s more

Think? There is no question.

But you go ahead and treat it as a non issue. That worker so great in the mid terms.

worked so great in the mid terms.

Yes, abortion was absolutely the determing factor. If you don't understand this (you can see the exit polling for verification) then you need to get out of your bubble. There is ZERO proof of any issues with voting in the areas suggested. None.

Where certain states are now forcing girls and women, some of whom were raped, to forced births. Why do you ignore this fact?

Please give me a list, with names, of girls and women who cannot get abortions anywhere in the country.

google is your friend with all sorts of stories from Louisiana, Ohio, Texas etc.

Because I love my country, and the Republican Party has become infested with people who clearly do not.

I used to vote for Republicans quite often. No more, though, until they come up with some ideas and plans which make our lives better and our country stronger.

Because I used to be Republican until they went bat crap crazy fascist.

Because the policies will never affect them. They live away from the real issues and can indulge in luxury beliefs.

See Martha's Vineyard this past summer. They can plant as many "humans aren't illegal" signs in their front yard as they like, but as soon as some undocumented immigrants show up, they have the National Guard out in 20 minutes.

Dobbs says nothing about states. It says “the people and their representatives,” which opens the door to a national ban.

Yes, and Republican states are forcing. And your boy Lindsay Graham has already floated a national ban. Own it.

Simply lies. Of course all policies affect all of us. Whether schools are closed, whether our communities have affordable health care, my daughter's rights, affordable college, environmental ocncerns, the integration of immigrants into our communities.... all policies affect all of us.

And don't misrepresent the people of MV. They immediately mobilized to HELP those people. Fed, warmed, and taken care of.

Right, they opened their own doors and invited them in, didn't they?

Oh wait, they shuffled them away to a facility. And sent lawyers to help them file lawsuits.

Is that what you think immigration should be? Is that what Dems are advocating for? Strangers in your own home? OK then, you first.

Are you saying it is ok to expose every child in America to a virus that was unknown at the time and in hindsight is causing significant health issues (ie longcovid) to a large percentage of kids and adults in this country?

The powers that be had no problem doing that with the vaccine.

And?

The vaccine has proven to mitigate the impacts of COVID, thus sparing our most vulnerable and our front line healtcare workers from dying anymore from COVID. Most of the deaths now are GOP idiots who believe in anti-vax rhetoric.

I suggest you read Pfizer’s own documents.

I have personally posted a dozen rebuttals of your attempt to cast doubt on the highly safe and effective covid vaccine. You are a seriously confused person.
