I’m from dc but sick of the progressive wokeness on crime. We don’t “owe” any communities a watered down justice system that won’t prosecute violent crime or deter future crime by fostering a system that show criminals, even teen criminals, that they’ll get a slap on the wrist, and their record shielded by the YRA, if they commit these crimes. It’s idiotic. All I hear is appeasement from Charles Allen and Nadeau. Like just fight crime you spineless wimps.

My core problem is that they have 100% focus on the impact on criminals and 0% focus on the impact on victims.

This. And also zero focus on the impact on communities of law-abiding taxpayers who are just trying to maintain a functional society and have something to show for their work and investment.
