Oh - good call! |
Elite educations and high powered jobs for their daughters (and sons, too) but not for the average person’s. Wonder why that is? It’s almost like they’re trying to keep their viewers and constituents down and aggrieved ………. |
My cousin got married at 40 to a 50 year old man and they had three kids no problem, in fact he knocked her up first try in night of honeymoon.
Guess what that was 22 years ago. I saw them recently in perfect health, both still work full time. They have 100 plus rental properties and workout and travel. Grandpa who is 92 is often over playing golf, doing things and he is looking forward to great grandkids one day. |
My husband and I got married but waited to have kids. I feel like this is pretty common amongst millennials at least? Of course we got married at 25/26 so even waiting 4 years we were still 30/31. |
I hate Tucker and think he is one of the most vile people alive, but I secretly agree with him |
It's been common for 20 years or more, especially among young professionals. It's part of the basic premise of the movie Idiocracy, but the way that it's being used by Carlson and other right wingers is part of a backlash against women. |
Audibly laughed out loud at this connection. |
Grandchildren add years to your life. It's one of life's greatest joys. They bring families together. My parents live to see all of their grandkids. |
What an idiot! I was married almost 5 years before deciding to have kids. I wanted to travel and do fun stuff with DH before kids. Kids need consistency and stability. Kids thrive on routine. Good parents wait to have kids when they’re completely ready. |
Funny, Carlson was on a podcast this week and shared he and his wife bought their first home at age 23. He said his kids marrying young and becoming homeowners is deeply important to him. He hates dating apps, hook-up culture, renting, and credit cards. |
On that podcast I just shared above, he claimed his wife was working after college and that's how they bought their first house at age 23. |
What a crock. Isn’t he from a rich family? |
His father was GOP royalty in the 80s, his step-mother who helped raise him is old money. His wife's father was headmaster at the boarding school they met at as teens. Yet he claims they bought a crummy starter house with their combined entry level wages alone. |
He's an heir to the Swanson frozen foods fortune! |
