Yes, it may not hurt the baby, but every 2 hours won't either.

The person getting hurt here is OP. And she matters too. And having a stressed burned out mom who is physically hurting from constant nursing isn't good for baby either.

Right now you're in "baby at all costs" mode but trust me, your baby needs you to not run yourself into the ground. You matter, OP. Your health, both physical and mental, matters.

+1. You can gently nudge your baby toward longer sessions instead of grazing/snacking, which is what your ped was getting at.

And no way would I ever take an LC's advice over an MD's.
