You're trying so hard!

I am not. Why would anyone care about the daughter of some celebrities? In Norway, we have so many of the exact same.

I mean this is why our girls have issues. We have old ladies posting up that this girl is gorgeous. I am not white, so maybe I'm missing something, but she really looks like the average pretty white girl to me. She is pretty, but as I asked earlier, I don't see anything special about her features that stand out from the pretty girls I see in Bethesda all day long. Being tall doesn't add to your beauty "to me", having "long legs" also doesn’t add to your beauty. So I'm not sure what that has to do with it.

Can the folks that are saying that she's gorgeous kinda point out the gorgeousness? I mean Cindy Crawford's daughter was gorgeous at this age and there is no comparison.

I understand. But the universal beauty standard is long legs and small waist. Long legs are associated with quality nutrition in childhood, therefore better environment and people with short legs have higher rates of type 2 obesity and cardiovascular disease. For men, having short legs in also correlated with higher triglycerides levels. So we are attracted to people with better genetic makeup; it's evolutionary. This applies to all races.

I am white and agree with pp, pretty but also pretty typical for a rich teenager, And 5’8 isn’t particularly tall these days.

You understand why our girls have issues. So then why are you adding your voice to the cackling witches on this thread trying to tear down a young girl who is graduating high school!? Who cares why someone thinks she’s attractive or not. Frankly this thread should be deleted. It’s revolting.

Being tall, natural blonde with blue eyes is a rarity genetically and therefore striking. My kids are mixed with darker skin and one has pure green eyes (no hazel or brown in them) and the other one blue and people stare, because it's so unusual. Why do you think Jeremy Ray Meeks is famous? Because he has a very striking and very rare combo of coloring.

Yes, he was a gang member and his mug shot went viral. He went on to become a model and he dated and had a kid with Chloe Green (her father is a British billionaire businessman who once owned Topshop). There was a thread here about him.

Why?

Because blue eyes are a recessive gene and only 8% of the world population has them. Also only 2% of the population has natural blonde hair. If you add tall stature, these women with all three features become a unicorn. Columbia Business School has interesting research about this - 35% of the women senators and 48% of the female CEOs are blonde. The research points out that all people, including POC, rate blondes as being warmer and more attractive. There's a study where the same women colored their hair brunette from blonde and they were subjected to harsher criticism. Pretty much all studies indicate that men prefer blondes, but the reason why is still unknown. Blondes have slightly higher estrogen levels than brunettes, so it could be driven by reproduction. Another theory is that the preference started in the Paleolithic area, when the first women became blondes and stood out, like they do today. BTW, I'm brunette and shorter (5'7) and 100% straight, so I'm just fascinated by the research. I met Claudia Schiffer once in Europe in the 90s and I can't emphasize the impact that she made when she entered the room. She was gorgeous and intimidating at the same time, I can't really put it into words.

Haaaaaaaaa’!!!!!!

Those CEOs and senators aren’t natural blondes for the most part.

I’m a natural olive skin, blue eyed brunette and have men falling all over my me my entire life.

And look out when I’m in a Nordic country or Northern Europe. The Vikings and Scandinavian, Dutch gods love me. It’s perfect.

Women prefer tall dark and handsome, not me. Give me a tall blonde Viking god any day of the week over a Latin lover.

Someone didn't pass AP stats with a 5, I see.

But that's exactly my point - they color their hair to be more attractive. Nope, they don't love you. Europeans go after all American types because you are a cheap easy lay, most times drunk too. I thought this was a very unfair label, but after I moved here I can see why. White American women have the highest alcoholism rate in the entire world and they are not picky at all about the quality of their sexual partners. Having indiscriminate sex, especially in college, is part of the American culture - see spring break parties, girls gone wild etc.

Yeah you’re right. I got caught up. I guess sometimes it bothers me that we keep perpetuating this standard of beauty. No sure why this one triggered me, maybe because I truly see prettier girls at my DD’s high every day. So that’s why I couldn’t understand why this thread was created for this young lady. Anywho….go luck to you Apple.
