I literally provided the context of how they shared the information. You're a lunatic. People talk to each other. They volunteered that information to me |
things that didn't happen for $1000 |
Why are people on this board so offended by anecdotes about people overreacting? Particularly since there's a segment on this board that's all about championing overreacting and living that lifestyle. |
She explained that she didn’t actually ask - they just provided the information. Please take a Xanax or something. You’re way too wound up about this. |
Sure. its easy to dismiss things that don't align with your worldview as fake. But I'm telling. I swear it. These girls are in 4th grade and live a few houses down from us. Its true |
My god PP don’t defend yourself to the lunatics in this board. |
There’s nothing particularly unbelievable about it. VA exists, does it not? I’m assuming many VA parents would also pull their kids from sports and activities. Some posters are just uncomfortable that stories about them inflicting the Shanghai lifestyle on their kids get discussed here. |

We all had it 2 weeks ago. My older one (4) was feverish and tired for one day, then runny nose, cough for 3ish more. My younger one (1.5) just seemed to have a runny nose and a cough. Not fun, but not worse than a bad cold/flu. |
Have you ever investigated Dihydrogen Monoxide? Scary stuff: https://www.dhmo.org/truth/Dihydrogen-Monoxide.html Dihydrogen monoxide: is also known as hydric acid, and is the major component of acid rain. contributes to the Greenhouse Effect. may cause severe burns. contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape. accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals. may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes. has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients. |
Especially because people’s extreme reactions to COVID have made it dramatically harder to get access to mental health care. Try finding a pediatric therapist these days. The waitlists are insane, even if you have the money to pay out of pocket. A shocking number of providers are only doing virtual sessions still (which just doesn’t work for a lot of young kids). There was a mental health crisis before the pandemic but it’s so out of control now, it’s terrible. |
I hope you do not purport to be a member of any religious faith. Because you are being immoral by the tenants of pretty much every religion, which call upon us to care for one another. Your selfishness is really, really horrible. |
Oh, I believe it. I know a family just like this, too. |
You forgot that if you accidentally ingest too much it causes hyponatremia, which can be fatal. Dihydrogen monoxide is no joke. |
DP but whaaaaat? We all did a really good job caring for each other in 2020. We wore our masks and tried to stay home as much as possible. We did this until vaccines and treatments were on the scene. Now that the variants are much less severe, hospitals are not overwhelmed, and treatments are readily available, it’s time to move on. Living life normally in no way makes someone selfish, careless or horrible. That’s just your Covid anxiety talking. |
