With that in mind, it's not surprising that the most beautiful people tend to be in areas where there it is more common for women to take care of their appearances. This includes most urban environments in the US and also most of Europe. This is also why Japanese and Koreans tend to be viewed as more beautiful than the Chinese even though the three groups are closely related in terms of their natural physical features. Even more telling: many of the Korean K-pop girl band members are Chinese.

Perplexes me every time people comment about DC people being ugly. What? This is a city full of smart, driven, international people. Those qualities alone are attractive.
