Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and Kim Kardashian is no exception. She further proved her devotion to luxury on Monday by arriving to the Met Gala in Marilyn Monroe’s dress from her iconic 1962 performance of “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”

I have to laugh because I used to get Self magazine and I remember her with all of 22 years to her name proclaiming she would never get Botox or surgery and she was really snotty about it. So, joke's on you girlfriend. |
Not even close |
Looked better on Marilyn

I like this. It is at least trying with the theme and the plain pattern is a kind of fun play on the actual design. Hat is fabulous. |
| Kim looks good, I just wish her hair wasn’t quite so severe. |
She looks great and on theme. The rest just wore whatever. |
There's one in every generation and he is GenX's. But this is very evocative of the monster in The Shape of Water so I will give him props for that. |
She’s missing the red lips. Maybe it would have been too similar but the dress goes with the red lip. |
She has that weird, “is she 25 or 55” face here. Like an Aes Sedai in real life (please someone get this nerd reference) |
I love both of their outfits but I feel like people don't know WHEN the Gilded Age was. This is very Gatsby-esque and it looks great, but it's very Roaring '20's. |
That is cool! I am not sure if I like her hair but the rest is great. |

I like Blake’s hair - the dress is very structured so her hair in waves is a nice contrast.
I wish Kim had worn her hair down in waves. |
Nailed it!
|
And she doesn't look good as a blonde and she's gotten crazy thin. Her "original" curves would have looked better in this dress! |
