They didn’t give me graduation gifts for hs, college, or grad school graduation. They did pay for all my tuition and living expenses in college and my car from ages 16-until I got married was my mom’s old car that I bought from her for a small amount (I can’t remember exactly but about $500?). I’m sure they also bought me things I needed for my dorm room like sheets and toiletries and such.
They did also let me host a big party at our house after high school graduation. We’re just not a big “gifts” family. We also don’t typically get each other bday gifts and at Christmas we do secret Santa so we’re just buying a gift for one person in the extended family. |

Jewelry. A diamond heart shaped pendant when I graduated from high school and a pretty diamond and emerald ring from college.
My Godmother gave me a silver Tiffany skeleton keys from my college graduation (called it the key to my future) and it’s hung on my key ring for 45 years! |

HS - A boom box with a CD player in it. I loved that.
College - a dinner with my immediate family and a few other relatives. |
Wow, your gratitude is amazing! |

I think you’re describing a word processor. |
| Nothing for high school or college and I paid for school myself. My narcissist mom bought herself an easel after I graduated with my Fine Art degree in painting. |

I don't think I got a high school graduation present. But they had just paid for a private school education.
For college, I got my mom's Jetta that had 80k miles on it, but that was more a function of her purchasing a new car anyway and when I was given the keys I was expressly told, "now you can drive away somewhere", so I think it was as much a gift for them to not have me hanging around the house making excuses about not geting a job because I had no car. |
| I got a nice wristwatch but people don't wear them anymore. |
| I didn't get gifts. Graduating itself is the gift. |
|
My country only does graduation for university degrees.
For passing my final high school exams, I got a packet of chocolate cookies. |

I got a MacBook for HS graduation. It was great, plus I used it all four years of school.
For college graduation: my grandparents got me a beautiful piece of gold jewellery I still wear all the time. I think my parents gave me $$$, but honestly, they paid all my ($$$) tuition so I didn't expect anything! |
Me too. My parents liked having one way to help us out (one less monthly payment). |
| My brother got a laptop for his high school graduation. I got pearls. |
| I didn’t get a high school graduation gift but there were two of us and graduation was expensive. For college graduation, my parents paid for a graduation luncheon and gave me a check to help cover moving expenses to my first job. |
