High school: Dinner at a nice restaurant, $500 to take a trip. I went to Tennessee with friends for several days and stayed at a nice log cabin but we could have flown somewhere. My brother went to Florida with his friends when he finished high school. They also gifted me a new Prius. A car and a trip has been standard for all of my siblings and we are middle class.
College: new Audi because that’s what I wanted. I think they gave me a budget to work with. I still have the Audi and it’s 10 years now and it great shape! |
