It's kind of mediocre when it's HYP and people (at least on DCUM) have an expectation of them to be dominant in every field, when in reality, they aren't... |
WashU grads go on to become Walmart greeters. |
I have no dog in it. But are you this insecure and is it so hard to lead your life? I feel pity for you and for your children. They can’t possibly learn good lessons of life from you. |
Not sure what you have against Walmart employees. They are essential employees. People like you who push their kids to Wall Street should seek therapy. |
| WashU makes the overall list but not the per Capita list. WashU is high in the med school placement list and tech list. |
PP was an obvious troll. Don’t fall for it. |
What the hell’s wrong with these DCUM people who think Wall Street is the only honest game in town? An honest living at Walmart can’t possibly be good lessons of life - not even for the Madoff’s of Wall Street? |
You, your spouse, and your children are more than welcome apply for and get employed as Walmart greeters. I will sure acknowledge your greeting if and when I visit the Walmart store where you will work. All the power to you and your family. |
If you are not the person who posted about WashU grads to become Walmart greeters, I guess you literally take the meaning of what you read and don't have the basic commonsense to read between the lines. If you are the person who posted it, please don't display anymore of your lack of intelligence. |
| Personally i don't think going into wall street is something that is as highly sought after from the very top students these days |
| These Wall Street posts over the last year are clearly by the same dork troll who also posts about "big law" in random threads. I'm guessing it's a 40-something incel man who thinks he's being hip with circa 2005 lexicon. He likely used to post in dealbreaker and above the law comment sections over 15 years ago. |
I disagree with this. I have experience within my own family to the contrary. One relative went to a no name college (his dad is a janitor) and got in at JP Morgan. Another, from BOston College, got in at one of the investment bank management programs but hated it and became a Marine in one of the elite branches. My unhooked husband came from a state school here in VA (not UVA) and is hedge fund manager. The common theme is extraordinarily hard working and being a very, very competitive person. |
THere you go again, doubling down on your shitty attitude towards people. Your parents might be working at wall mart in their old age. Your young kids will learn great life lessons working there. You and your spouse may end up there in your old age. Sam Walton worked there all his life. You shop there for made in China products to save money. No shame in Walmart game. |
Ok, you do you. |
| Sad that there's no HBCU's on the list. |
