"Designated parking spots" --like if you live in the suburbs with a 2-3 car garage...or a driveway with room to park cars...or if you live in an apartment complex and have a specific parking spot assigned to you...
Do you have more cars than designated "spots?" Where do you park your additional cars? |
| We have a 2 car garage currently housing two vehicles, enough driveway to park 5 more cars. |
| Apt. building in D.C. We have 1 parking spot and my wife and I have 1 car. |
| Apt in downtown SS. We have two vehicles. Our apt comes with one space. We also park on the street rather than pay $30/mo for an additional space. Many of our neighbors have 2-3 vehicles per apt. |
| 0 and 0. We could rent a spot from our building if we wanted one. |

Live in the suburbs on a cul d’sac. We have 2 cars and a 2 car garage but it’s detached and far from the house. Our driveway is only wide enough for 1 car. We park 1 in the driveway and 1 in front of the house.
Our neighbors have a 1 car garage and a 1 Car wide driveway. Their 4 children are home from college. They park 1 in the driveway and the other 5 in front of my house. What’s annoying to that there is no house on the opposite side of the cul d’sac so they could park their 5 cars there but they park in front of my house because it’s a closer walk to their house. I end up having to park across the street. |
| We live in the suburbs not in the DC area. We have two vehicles that we park in our two car carport. The driveway is long enough that if we are having friends over, two more vehicles can park behind ours. If we are having even more friends over, there is space in the yard for two more vehicles. If we are having even more friends over, they would have to park on the street. |
| We live in the suburbs with one spot in the driveway and two on the street. We have 2 cars. |
So you want to park where it is most convenient for you. Just like they do. Go figure. |
| Driveway fits 3 cars -and we have 3 cars. |
| We have two cars and two reserved spots at our townhouse in the MD suburbs. |
| Our garage hasn’t been spacious/organized enough to park a car in in about 15 years. |
| My driveway fits 5 cars; we have 3. |
| We have four cars (college kids). We have a three car garage and a large driveway, so one car is parked in the driveway but the rest of us can get around it. |
And they actually have a 2 car garage that is somehow too far from the house so they walk across the cul-de-sac instead? Odd. We have a one car garage and one car. We used to have a second car and park it on the street, but we never drove it so we got rid of it. |
