Well, it seems pretty clear that there will not be a basketball season this year.
Can anyone recommend a great private basketball coach in NOVA? Has anyone tried out the St. James coaching staff? |
| Depends where in NOVA and how old is your kid? |
For a kid who's 11 and in the South Arlington area near Shirlington. |

| Alex Kiberu, Blockchain Basketball. Works the fundamentals and I saw the improvement in my son’s ball handling and shooting back in the pre-COVID days. |
| I agree worth the coach walsh recommendation - he is excellent. |

This is TERRIBLE advice. Without coaching, kids will cement terrible habits. Almost nobody learns good shooting mechanics. Shooting is actually easy to learn if you learn the mechanics, but just throwing up shots won't teach kids anything. Also, ball handling and dealing with contact are HUGE. As is speed and footwork. |
+1 This is how my kid got really good at basketball, too. |
Lol he sucks. Anyone but this guy, OP. |
How much does he charge? |
How many guys in the NBA do you think had private basketball coaches? As you know, Coach, you can't buy a good basketball game. The secret is on the blacktop. |
