No chance DCPS isn't starting with all DL.
I'll change my hoping to it only being until Christmas and not the whole year. My long term plan will be to hold back all my kids (summer birthdays)

I assume you mean all of your kids that haven't started school yet. Holding kids back is not an individual choice that you will be allowed to make. DCPS is about acceleration not remediation or holding back.

They clearly said from the beginning if it's safe.

No they showed the same slides they did last week. Do you know who is teaching the distance learning? Do you know how many live lessons are required? How many assignments students have to turn in?

The new info they gave was mostly about protocols and their priorities, if that can be considered 'new.'

No, Melissa Kim repeated the same information about hybrid they have repeated 20 times. They then we took Dr Miserra who kept repeating all the protocols they are developing. They had a chart that said information to come in “the coming weeks”. They had zero specifics. I was at the meeting. They talked about how exciting the “Living History Cornerstone” was going to be. You got no specifics about anything.
