Where to get COVID test for travel?

A number of countries are allowing Americans in if they present a negative COVID test taken within the last 72 hours. Anyone know where I can get such a test in the DMV? I thought results were taking a few days at least to come back. How can this be done? TIA!

That’s exactly my concern. There are countries that permit travel with the test, but it seems difficult to impossible to get the test! Why is that?
