Are white cabinets, Subway tile and gray marble counters out of style?

Anonymous
I’m thinking that look is over but wondering what the masses think?

I disagrree and think that's a timeless look.

No

White cabinets are a classic. My grandma had them in the 1960's. I think her kitchen was remodeled in the 1040's.

I prefer quartz countertops.

I have a glass subway tile. Beautiful.

Marble has been used for over a 1000 years. It is classic.

I do, however, prefer quartz for easy maintenance.

Yes. Very much so. Don’t buy into the people who call it timeless. Nothing is timeless

I think in that combination, yes definitely. Each element can still stand alone but that combination is overdone and thus dated

Yes just like the Tuscan look of the 90s

So what is in style?

I had my kitchen remodeled about 18 months ago. I got Kraftmaid cabinets. The cabinet guy told me that about 80% of the cabinets produced throught the factory at that time were white or variations of white.

Still white cabinets. Quartz or gray marble.

Tuscan look is out. The yellow/brown granite (starter home look) is out.

Nope go for it

The glass shard back splash look is out.

Yes it’s out! Thank goodness. So tired of it.

I would skip the subway tile but otherwise it sounds nice. Choose a bolder backsplash and you're good to go.
