I’m thinking that look is over but wondering what the masses think? |
I disagrree and think that's a timeless look. |
No
White cabinets are a classic. My grandma had them in the 1960's. I think her kitchen was remodeled in the 1040's. I prefer quartz countertops. I have a glass subway tile. Beautiful. |
Marble has been used for over a 1000 years. It is classic.
I do, however, prefer quartz for easy maintenance. |
+1 |
Yes. Very much so. Don’t buy into the people who call it timeless. Nothing is timeless |
I think in that combination, yes definitely. Each element can still stand alone but that combination is overdone and thus dated |
Yes just like the Tuscan look of the 90s |
So what is in style? |
I had my kitchen remodeled about 18 months ago. I got Kraftmaid cabinets. The cabinet guy told me that about 80% of the cabinets produced throught the factory at that time were white or variations of white.

Still white cabinets. Quartz or gray marble. Tuscan look is out. The yellow/brown granite (starter home look) is out. |
Nope go for it |
The glass shard back splash look is out. |
Yes it’s out! Thank goodness. So tired of it. |
I would skip the subway tile but otherwise it sounds nice. Choose a bolder backsplash and you're good to go. |
