How neutral is Catherine Herridge

How neutral is CBS’ Catherine Herridge? Since she is with CBS, I assumed she is. But as I read her tweeter feed she sounds more and more like Trump spokesperson. This morning she is reporting NSC’ Robert O’Brian’s statement that Trump was not briefed about the GRU’s attempt of killing American soldiers. She has no comment about how many times Trump officials have lied to cover Trump’s a**. Heck, they lied about cyclone’s path so that Donald can say he was the genius with a marker!

Catherine seems like a unequivocal Trump supporter. Why does CBS keep a biased person like her as journalist?

Oh, please. She reports the news. And, is actually one of the few unbiassed reporters left.

I challenge you to find anything she has written that is not accurate.

Her job is not commentary - it is reporting. Clearly, you are more accustomed to "reporters" who provide their opinions and commentary.

Perhaps it is YOU, OP, with the issues and not her.

She worked for Faux News for years. Nothing unbiased about her reporting

Find a story - or even a tweet - she has written that is not accurate.

I don't see how reporting Robert O'Brien's statement is in and of itself biased.

It defies common sense. John Bolton says Trump was briefed on the Russian bounties in 2019. Her bias is iin so willingly accepting O'Brien's statement withput question.

She can report the statement all she wants, but it is pretty clear at this point that reporting a statement uncritically or without context, which is something people like Wolf Blitzer have been doing for decades, is a disservice, because it is simply amplifying BS without context.

And what I mean by that, she can report that "Person X said Y" but if Y is a material falsehood, then she is just saying Y Y Y without saying why Y is wrong, or a lie or whatever.

No, he didn't. Provide a citation for your claim.

You, again, are used to reporters who provide opinion or commentary and don't just report the news.

She is hard over Fox News person. You can not believe a word she says. Her sources are all administration propagandist.

If I do your work for you and provide the citation, can you stop being silly for one day?

You have reading comprehension issues..... from your link:

"Bolton declined to comment Monday when asked by the AP if he had briefed Trump about the matter in 2019."

And it is customary to provide a citation when you make such a claim.
