Amazing. Ocean front. Beautiful balcony. |
| Does it have to be through Vrbo or Airbnb? |

It's not luxurious, but we stayed here a few years ago when our kids were younger and they each brought a friend, and we had the best time. It was like our own summer camp with boats and fishing and badminton and a campfire with smores every night. During quarantine our family was talking about vacations and we agreed this was our favorite. |
| These are SO pretty! |
| I won't say, because after years of being a frequent VRBO customer, I'm never using VRBO again, and I don't want to encourage anyone else to do so. The owner stole my deposit and ghosted me, and VRBO has done NOTHING to help. Others here have posted similar stories. You would be much better off dealing with a local rental agency. |

This was such a fun place near Manuel Antonio. We’d see monkeys and sloths every day and had a pool. Also walking distance to a great boogie boarding beach. |
| I don’t think they’re renting our favorite place anymore because I can’t find a link. It was in Istanbul, had a view on one side of the blue mosque and on the other side you could see the Bosporus. An apartment with a wrap around balcony where we watched the sunset each night. And it was less than $100/ day |
| One with a roof terrace across the street from the Seville cathedral and one no longer listed on Lake Tahoe |
This looks great. Did you hire the private chef or eat out or cook your own food? |

Has anybody ever heard of the Q Street AirBnB party house, turned “we swear no parties” AirBnB house, turned marijuana popup? I did not sleep there, but we used it as a film location for two days years ago for work. That place is wild. When you walk inside, you’re on a glass bridge over a koi pond with a huge water feature wall. There’s an elevator styled like a red UK phone booth. There’s a heated rooftop pool. What felt like a maze of bedrooms on the upper levels. Video of the place in the article below.

We did hire the private chef. Christopher and Elias were wonderful and really catered to our family’s tastes. I highly recommend it! Also, if you opt to cook, there’s a grocery store nearby that delivers for like a $4 charge, but if you hire the chefs, they’ll take care of groceries for you. |
| Bumping this thread. Would love to see other's favorite airbnb and vrbos. Please share your gems! |
This looks amazing. I wish I could plan a trip to Costa Rica right now. |

We've been staying at some really nice local(ish) places during the pandemic.
