Where are all the DCUMers claiming young people can BARELY get infected?
Do you know what this means for Fall? DL until Spring 2021 Imagine if those 17 high schoolers were in class now for 14 days... spreading to staff and peers. Yeah, you can finish the story by yourself. |
| You know what I bet- every single one of them will be fine. |
Maybe, maybe not. But will all of the people they expose be fine? Most likely not. You can be alive without being "fine." |
Random question: If any of those kids are athletes and after they recover from crownvirus they do so with a reduction of 15-25% reduction in lung capacity would you still claim they are/will be “fine”? |
| I hope none of them had plans to enlist in the military. |
Good question but I’m not sure you understand the meaning of random? |
exactly the students may be fine - but they will infect others. who may not be fine. why don't people understand this? |
People do understand, they just don't care. We are a country of selfish a$$holes. |
| What did they think would happen after going to "beach week" at Myrtle Beach? I'm surprised there aren't way more. |
| Did they ride a bus home together or share a house there or something |
This. But DCUM won’t care about the 60 year old school bus driver with HBP or the custodian who has diabetes. |
+1. What happened to “we’re all going to get it eventually?” |
What happened is we are learning more and more about some of the long term impacts on those who don’t die but aren’t fine. We see mortality stats but I haven’t searched for stats on how many are seeing longer term issues like lung and other organ damage. |

I’m PP. moved from DCUM to FB and this was in my feed

| They are getting infected but the parents and kids don't care or think about it until they know someone who got it and its bad. People are selfish. |
