What happened is we are learning more and more about some of the long term impacts on those who don’t die but aren’t fine. We see mortality stats but I haven’t searched for stats on how many are seeing longer term issues like lung and other organ damage.

They are getting infected but the parents and kids don't care or think about it until they know someone who got it and its bad. People are selfish.
