Has anyone seen any details? Is it just going to be a mass gathering or is some parade planned? I saw the Mayor basically ask out of state people to consider not coming. |
| Got to spread that Covid |
| Good thing we are removing most of the police and national guard. What could possibly go wrong? Going to be a real run on plywood, to the extent things haven’t already been boarded up. |
| Wow... covid... incredibly stupid., |
| Maybe it'll rain |
| I don't expect that they will be the biggest crowds but I'll be there with my church group. |
| And yet people can’t gather for an outdoor religious service in MoCo unless we’re in our cars ... |
| So sports are a bad idea and all of the liberals were castigating all of the beach goers in Alabama and Florida, yet look at all of them now jam packed like sardines in the street. Total hypocorisy. |
| High of 91 degrees. |
Yep. And they’ll call you a racist if you criticize them for going to a crowded protest, while also calling you a would-be killer because you went to church with 50 other people in a 600-seat sanctuary. Their insanity and hypocrisy is boundless. And regular people are noticing this. |
|
Foolish in a pandemic. There is no way protesters will all physically distance and wear masks. I support the cause, God knows I do. But protests are not the way to do it right now. |
Yep. DCFD/EMS will be slammed with calls. |
We feel just like the Republicans who thought protesting against stay-at-home orders was dangerous and stupid, but felt somewhat sympathetic to the cause. Now the shoe is on the other foot, and Democrats are not comfortable with rejecting the BLM protests, but don't want to encourage viral spread either. In both scenarios, the virus wins. |
What’s a “Regular” person? |
"Regular people". Where are you from? (Not DC no doubt.) |
