Would you hire this nanny? She’s be going from an underground metro station and be on the train for three stops. She could probably find a bus but that may be more risky. |
Yes I would. |
Yes but I would make arrangements for her not to take public transportation. If you aren’t willing to pay for those arrangements (uber, you pick her up and take her home) then no. |
Yes. I would supply her with disposable gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer- to ensure that she would always have an available supply. I would also offer to drive her round trip if I was able to do so. |
Can you give her a car to use? |
Pay for uber or pick her up. |
Isn’t uber also public transportation? I don’t have an extra car and can’t pick her up. |
Not the same. In an uber she’s exposed to one driver. On the metro she’s exposed to all other riders. This is for your and your child’s safety, OP. |
buy her a car |
With a chauffeur in case she doesn’t drive. |
She’s not just exposed to one driver. She’s exposed to that driver plus every single previous passenger that has been in the car unless he has sanitized his car between each passenger. |
I forgot to add that you should be fine provided that she wears a mask on public transportation, sanitize her hands before she enters your house and it would be a good idea for her to change shoes and wash her hands when she is inside. |
If you are so worried than buy her a car! |
OP here, this is only temporary until we can send DD to preschool. |
She’s also exposed to whatever germs remain from previous passengers. |
