Are you kidding? A nanny who take public transportation but uses a mask and gloves and changes her clothes and shoes when she arrives is MUCH safer than preschool! Daycare and preschool are germ factories! They pass around hfm, lice, flu... I don’t want to even think about how fast covid would sweep through!

Where did I say WHEN I was planning to send her back? I will wait until our health officials tell us it's safe. It might be in the fall, it might be in spring. At some point I want my children to be around other children. I'm not scared of HFM or lice, been there done that.

She’s not just exposed to one driver. She’s exposed to that driver plus every single previous passenger that has been in the car unless he has sanitized his car between each passenger.

I feel like being in a large metro train where you can be a few feet away from someone is better than an enclosed car where you don't know the driver.
