How much is Meghan paying you to write this?

Meghan Markle did not write her own book either, you dimwit. When did you become first name basis with all the celebrities? Vomit.

Meghan wrote her own blog for years. You might not like her book — which I’m pretty sure you actually haven’t read yet — but if you’re going to assert that she didn’t write it, you should really support that with something more than your overeager opinion. DP

The same blog where she gushed about Ivanka Trump's secret sauce for being successful and glamorous and so much wanting to be like her and clearing her schedule for drinks with Ivanka? That blog?

Yes, that one. That nicely written one. That nicely written one that observed that people can — and should — grow and change.

How can anyone who writes nicely use phrases like "see the growth of our boy" in poetry?

Yes, and Meghan was super successful and well known, and an A-list celebrity before she started dating Harry, blah blah blah. We've heard it before, PP.

And, I, like 90% of the people on earth, had never heard of Meghan Markle before she started dating Harry. Had never heard of "The Tig." Had never watched Suits or had any idea who any of the characters were.

And having a blog does not make you a writer. I had a successful blog in the early 90s and made a lot of advertising money, got lots of free stuff in exchange for sponsored posts, etc., but I quit instead of switching to instagram and even back then didn't call myself a writer. Please.

Why are you refuting things that no one — but you — has claimed? She wrote her own blog entries.
Whatever the rest of the froth is referencing might feel happier in a thread that at least focuses on Meghan as a topic.
I’ll take my own admonition to heart. Done.

I'm pretty sure the bulk of "successful" actors are not A list and are not that well-known. Just because someone isn't an A-list celebrity does not mean they aren't successful.

She wasn’t an objectively successful actress - maybe C list (generously). Outside Suits, filmography consists of extremely minor appearances (one step up from being an extra) in a few movies and TV shows, and a few Hallmark movies. She wasn’t invited to awards shows or major events in the industry. Her most prominent role was a supporting character on a moderately successful show. Not saying that’s not an accomplishment, but it’s not the qualifications of a “successful” actress either.

If this is a M/H plug, look at the engagement statistics on both tweets. Also, while Oprah is an accomplished professional, I wouldn’t say she’s that relevant these days. I’m a millennial and don’t know anyone my age who particularly cares what she has to say. A lot of Gen Z probably doesn’t even know who she is.

Why are you so obsessed with putting actors on some kind of list? That's not an indication of success just superficial nonsense. Plenty of actors you've never heard of (commercials, theater, soaps, extras, indies, etc) make a great living and are quite successful. Being able to fully support yourself as an actor is not easy. Kudos to anyone that does. And that seems like a better way to objectively measure success.

Yes, she wasn't a household name. And yes, she wasn't "A-list". But to say she wasn't successful, with the multitude of the struggling actors/waiters/nannies/caterers/dog walkers/bartenders/Uber drivers/anything else, is pretty silly.

The M/H plug is under some random account with nothing to do with them or Apple. Its actually kind of impressive they're getting this kind of organic engagement.

We don’t know yet — since none of us has read the book, just excerpts. Context is everything.

Interesting. Nobody cares what she has to say and yet her little backyard interview generated an audience the size of the Super Bowl.

You’re really reaching with the engagement statistics. You’re comparing a tweet from the official dukeandduchessofcambridge account with a tweet from random person who posted about Oprah abd Harry’s project...

Okay. The excerpts released by the publisher are not representative of the book at all and should be disregarded. That makes more sense.

Have you seen O magazine lately? Quite thin. Advertisers are staying away.

-O has been a quarterly for some time with the shift to other media — a plan long in the works.

- Maybe you’re confusing it with Vogue — which seems to be struggling for pages, and, unlike O, was always more ads than content?

International relocation = moving to the US to work for Harry and Meghan?

International relocation? He'd better not be coming back to the U.S.

His husband works for Dominic Raab - did he lose his job as well?
