Too bad there's NOTHING LEFT THAT'S OPEN.
Smaller shops will make this happen. Just watch.
MoCo said that day camps could open consistent with Maryland rules. One of those rules is no youth from "out of state." This is in the same sentence saying no residential camps. Do you think it's possible that camps won't be allowed to enroll DC residents?
We enroll in MD camps because we work in MD. This is crazy! Even though we already paid our kids cannot attend if camps proceed ( not all canceled yet)?
...with everyone wearing masks and staying 6 ft apart.
Isn’t it also outside only? Which is just not feasible in the hot summer?
Butler stays outside all day. Sandy Spring stays outside most of the day unless you sign up for something done indoors. I assume, but don't know of course, that they will shorten days. Maybe have half the kids go in the mornings, half in the afternoons. |
Any camps open? Available to DC residents?
I emailed valley mill with the question about DC residents but haven’t gotten an answer. Has anyone actually heard from a MoCo camp regarding this question?
I also emailed calleva about this, but haven't yet heard back. |
Camp Sonshine is open, or is saying they will be open. 2 locations in Moco.
sandy spring moving forward as well. |
They can have groups of 9 indoor or outdoor? Or outdoor only?
both sandy spring and camp sonshine have huge campuses. i'd imagine they are planning to mostly be outdoors. but I think they also have enough classroom space for bring the groups indoors in a contained space. i'm speculating.
I am sure in case of a thunderstorm or ?? they will bring the kids inside.
