| When will you feel comfortable having visitors travel to you on a cross country flight? I’m not comfortable yet but my parents are pressuring us to come visit their grandchild. I told them it might be months or longer. |
| We're probably flying in the middle of the summer to see grandparents. We'll take all the precautions we can on the flight -- masks, sanitizer, lots of handwashing -- and try to keep some distance for the first part of the visit (separate bathroom for us, all meals outdoors and generally outdoors as much as possible, windows open indoors as much as possible, we'll telework during the day in an outbuilding, and masks when indoors) but we could use the help with childcare while we telework and they really want to see their only grandchild. I'm more worried that we'll catch something on the flight and give it to them than anything else, so all the precautions are geared towards preventing that. We haven't totally agreed, but we're figuring out whether we can make it work. |
| I am planning to go to CA this summer to see parents. Will quarantine for a couple days then get a COVID test before seeing them. |
| We decided in March we definitely won't fly until September at the earliest. Now we're thinking not until 2021. |
| I am going to see family this weekend who are flying. My MIL is coming in June via plane and I am flying in July. |
| My daughter is flying home for a visit this weekend (we were supposed to be out west for her graduation a few days ago). She'll wear a mask, avoid eating/drinking on the flight, wipe everything down, etc. We don't have anyone at high risk in the house. We're not going to make her isolate since she's only going to be here for a week. |

Most states still require visitors to quarantine for 14 days.
Tell your parents they visit but they will need to quarantine in a motel for 14 days prior to visit. Other option is they stay in motel and visit you outside with 6' distance. |
| I'm so freaking delighted that we won't be able to go visit in-laws or them come to us. Delighted. Like dance in the kitchen delighted. I don't plan on having visitors in our house for a long time. |
Please list your source, it is not most states, it's a handful |
Umm tomorrow ? The only thing I will require is my visitors to bathe and disinfect themselves outside in our guest toilet bucket. |
| Like, today. This thing is overblown. |
| WIth a newborn in the house, absolutely not. |
| OP - You are in charge. You do not need to know/say "when" you will feel it's right. You have no crystal ball. |
| No time soon |
