Visitors taking cross country flight

Not today. Maybe soon, but I can’t promise that. It depends on trends/what happens.

This is a good point... they act like I am inconveniencing them because they are not able to book a flight at this time. I have no idea how things will shake out once business start reopening.

Couple of days is not enough time. 14 days is necessary for virus to show up.

CNN and our liberal politicians will be feeding you fear until Nov. 4th. Live your life and just use common sense. Literally thousands of people are flying in the US everyday without coming down with the virus. Contract Tracing has found few exposures compared to the amount of people traveling.

OP here. I’m due with baby #2 November 5, so that’s another reason I am being careful about visitors. Hospital is swabbing all women who come to deliver and separating the newborn if you’re covid positive and symptomatic, and once we get home I’ll need to worry about the newborn getting sick too (i understand it’s mainly elderly who get sick with covid but don’t care). My parents also aren’t really social distancing- dad still going in to the office, and mom still seeing friends.

I’m having a baby in a month and my parents just returned from Florida via car to help me out with my other kids. They have been good about social distancing etc and they take their temperature every day. They are in very good health and we have been very good about social distancing ourselves so I am comfortable with them being around us.

If the child is a newborn, then I would wait and see. If your child is over three, then come on over. The vast majority of americans will return to their workplaces in the next 60 days. you won't be able to avoid people. It is fine.

What's the point of a 2 day quarantine?
