She’s self-quarantining in California. He’s in Tennessee with the kids. They married in 2007 and her divorce request comes with a mysterious restraining order.

No idea what the deal is with the husband, but She probably has ptsd from that unrelated stalker and attack! How awful. Plus a child with very serious medical issues? That is all really hard.

The statement from the husband implies he has been solo with the kids during the pandemic. That seems a little odd (for either gender parent, to be clear)

Its more than odd that she filed a restraining order when she lives the entire country away from her family.

Sounds like Jaime needs some time in therapy and/or a mental hospital.

If he was Tennessee with the kids when this started while she was in California, maybe they don’t feel it’s safe to put the kids on a plane right now.

I don’t know if she’s relapsed or not, but don’t fall for the smear. If he actually cared about her, he wouldn’t make veiled suggestions she’s relapsed in order to make himself look better, he’d give her the respect of letting her handle what’s going on privately unless/until she was ready to make it public.

That went far beyond ‘respect’ and threatened his legal parental rights during a pandemic.

She WAS a heroin addict. The allegations now are alcohol and opioid addiction. Sounds more like painkillers than heroin, although who knows.

No, sounds like heroin. If multiple nannies and more than dozen of her friends are weighing in the father's favor, you know its bad.

The Barely Lethal director has also reportedly submitted declarations from two nannies and one of Jaime's former assistants that corroborate Newman's claims, they say the actress has an opioid addiction and has put their children in danger by - 'among other things' - driving with them while under the influence.

In court documents obtained by TMZ Newman claims King 'spent the last decade high' and will not get help for her opioid addictions.

The documents detail the events of January 12 when he claims he and 14 of Jaime's friends staged an intervention, asking her to get help for her issues.

Newman claims he gave her an ultimatum, get treatment 'or the kids and I need to leave for their own safety.'

Just a horribly sad situation all around and sucks that it is so public. I am sure judge will ask for drug tests to determine what is going on. If he is telling the truth, what he is claiming can be proven. Addiction is a horrible disease that changes the people you love the most - and i am speaking from personal experience with my family. Hopefully she will get help and the kids’ well being is prioritized.
