Seems a bit odd that she would admit to going to rehab, supposedly to prove she wasn't under the influence.

That doesn’t sound good at all. I get the impression she’s been using drugs for weight control for a long time and it’s become a full blown addiction. |
She was a heroin addict as a teenager. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2694076/amp/Jaime-King-posts-controversial-heroin-chic-image-taken-late-fashion-photographer-Davide-Sorrenti.html |
I don’t buy her story at all. And going into rehab to prove you weren’t taking drugs? That’s not proof, she would have had to have used within 2-3 days before entry. What if she hadn’t? She was clearly able to hold herself together enough to act. And if she so desperately wants to see her kids then why hasn’t she gone to them in the past three months? She could have taken precautions on a flight - or flown private - then quarantined for 14 days and been able to see her kids. Instead she’s staying in LA, going out with another man, and whining she can’t see her kids... There were too many named incidents from nannies and her friends in his divorce filings. She is the problem here. |

There is a very few people who'd overcome heroin addiction. She's been an addict on and off since she was 15 years old.
She went through a number of miscarriages to have those kids and now this. Very sad. |

Very sad.
Also, I fully believe that the endometriosis was invented. Probably to cover up drug and alcohol abuse that led to miscarriages. Don’t Do drugs. |
Terrible. She used while pregnant, so the baby had to go through detox after birth. And one of them had a severe heart birth defect. |
Given that she used while pregnant it’s a miracle that either child ended up being born (and I do understand that they had issues due to the drugs). |
| Wow. I just google her, I remember her from the Hart of Dixie. She has lost a lot of weight. Looks very thin and imo, she looked better in the Hart of Dixie. |
| The fact they tested for it at the 20 week appointment suggests she was using something legal that they knew about. I wonder if she was on methadone at that point? Maybe she had relapsed, got pregnant and they figured methadone was better than heroin or trying to cold turkey? |
Why do you think testing her shows that it was legal? Perhaps the husband told the doc that she was using again? |
| I really enjoyed her as Lemon Breeland, she is quite talented. I had NO idea about her background as a young drug addicted model till now. |
So did I. Its so weird that her character is exactly the opposite of her real life family + addiction problems. Lemon's entire life was getting married and having kids. Jaime has them and is currently living across the country from hers during a plague. |
Because CPS didn’t get involved (no doubt the husband would have mentioned that in his filing if they had). Very few people would volunteer to their doctor that they were doing illegal drugs before their 20 week scan. Basically just my guess from the way his intervention is written... |
Kyle says she cleaned out the joint bank accounts and left him AND the kids without support.
https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/kyle-newman-jaime-king-emptied-joint-bank-accounts-in-divorce-battle/ Getting messy. Jaime King’s estranged husband, Kyle Newman, claimed she cleaned out their joint bank accounts and pushed him out of their family home amid their divorce. According to court documents filed on September 2, Newman, 44, alleged that the Hart of Dixie actress, 41, “emptied and closed” the pair’s joint bank accounts, “leaving Kyle with minimal access to funds.” In the docs obtained by Us Weekly, Newman requested his estranged wife pay for his legal fees, claiming that his role as a stay-at-home father to their two sons, James, 6, and Leo, 5, makes it hard to pay the $150,000 in costs that he’s already incurred. The docs asked for repayment to the lawyers representing Newman, totaling $70,000. Newman also claimed that the Transformers: Power of the Primes alum “excluded him from the family residence” and has prolonged their legal fight, which has led to more legal fees. Us confirmed in May that King filed for divorce from Newman after 13 years of marriage, and although the pair allegedly tried to settle the matter beginning in June, a resolution was not reached. Instead, Newman said that King returned to work and left for Canada to film a new season of Black Summer, leaving him with the kids and “without support [and] without access to community funds.” The filing alleged that the Dungeons & Dragons Art & Arcana author is “without access to the family residence” which contains his personal belongings. “I continued to be left without the funds necessary to pay for my attorneys, including funds to proceed with preparing and filing requests for support and custody,” he alleged. Newman pointed to King’s past substance abuse issues and his role as primary caregiver to their boys in the docs as the main reasons for his need for financial reimbursement. |
